Breakfast is one of my favorite meals. Why not have breakfast for dinner then? Not only is it a favorite of mine, there are so many low-carb friendly options for breakfast.
Just a few of my go to low-carb / high fat breakfast foods:
Eggs... scrambled, fried, poached, boiled, omelets. Eggs are a low-carb lifestyle staple.
Bacon... I could wax poetics about bacon. I'm big on the pig, but bacon is one of my faves!
Sausage... Just watch the carb and sugar count on some sausage.
Ham... Again, the pig is just so delicious... I love me some oink, oink!
Steak... Steak and eggs? Um, yes please!
The bottom line-- breakfast cuisine is low-carb and easy!
Tonight I made scrambled eggs... but they are just not plain old scrambled eggs. I call them Jenni's Creamy Dreamy Eggs. I take 3-4 eggs and 3 TBSP of Heavy Cream and whisk them together Add salt and pepper to taste. Pour into a sizzling butter filled frying pan and scramble away! So creamy and fluffy!
Of course the eggs would be sad if they did not have some bacon to accompany them on the plate. Don't judge me on the number of bacon strips on that plate. I just came back from a 9Round work out and was STARVING! Kicking a punching bags ass made me want lot's of bacon.
I am stuffed-- and know that fat will be burning fat (it's the Keto/Atkins way)!
