I was having one of those nights where my sweet tooth was out in full force!
I didn't have any SF Chocolate Pudding mix to make my go to Whipped Mousse-- and I didn't want to make any thing with almond flour (trying to get myself back into full blown ketosis since my birthday splurge Monday).
Digging through the fridge and pantry, I saw the ingredients that could make a pretty decent cup of hot chocolate! Yippee! Let's give it a try!
What you will need:
2 cups of Unsweetened Vanilla Cashew Milk (or Amond Milk)
1 TBSP of unsweetened Coco powder
2 TBSP of Coconut Oil
1 TBSP of Grassfed Butter (I❤Kerry Gold)
1/4 cup of Heavy Cream
1 Tsp of Artificial sweetener (I used Stevia in the Raw).
Heat up Chashew / Almond milk in microwave (I put on for 2 min)
In blender or Magic Bullet/ Ninja add rest of ingredients.
Pour hot Chashew/Almond milk in with the rest of the ingredients and blend!
It created frothy... creamy...chocolate goodness!!
Note: You can adjust your artificial sweetener amount to your liking! I went less sweet in my drink.
And I'm getting some great healthy fats in!! Bonus!!
