As I sit here drinking my Bulletproof Coffee and getting myself mentally right to get on my work out clothes, and get out the door, I thought "Hey! I want to share my new workout experience with everyone."
Everyone knows that it's not all what you eat to loose weight or just to be healthy in general. You have to get your booty up and MOVE! Exercise of some form needs to be part of your weekly routine.
Sometimes, it takes an act of congress to get my ass up and get working out. As a morbidly obese person, the extra weight I am carrying makes it just that much harder on my joints and muscles to move. But guess what.... I can't get this weight off without it!
I started out be doing C25K *(Couch to 5K) conditioning on the elliptical with my friend Becky about 3 times a week. This was a great slow way to get me back into an exercise regime. But I'm the type of person that needs something more exciting. I love to dance, so Zumba has been my go to exercise a few years ago. I was also one of the original lovers of Tae-Bo kickboxing videos back in the late 90's. This was part of my successful 90 lb. weight loss back in 99'/00'. So on to finding something new to get my body moving.
Enter in 9rounds 30 Min. Kickboxing Fitness!

It kicks my ass every time! But I keep coming back for more because I can feel the changes in my body already. Plus, who doesn't want to put on boxing gloves and beat the shit out of a punching bag???
The moral of the story here is find your own way to get moving!
